When Seattle Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman hears of a 12th Man in need of a jersey, especially when the person involved performed a good deed, he does not disappoint.
Look at this bag of swag!
12s, thanks for helping track down PJ. Great story of a true 12. Signed jersey coming his way http://t.co/AWBrARigCE pic.twitter.com/zZIl1InhhG

This is a cool story. It started when Packers’ fans Tim McElravy and his 13-year-old boy, Austin, witnessed the demise of their beloved Green Bay team on Sunday in the AFC Championship game against Seattle.
Where Seahawks’ fans were reportedly heckling poor McElravy and his son, a cool Seahawks fan carried on some friendly conversation with these Packers’ fans. Seeing how disappointed the two Packers’ fans were after the loss, the guy pulled his own Richard Sherman jersey off and gave it to the son. However, the McElravys left the game not knowing the name of the fan, PJ Ledorze.
In an attempt to find the fan, McElravy posted the following on KING5’s Facebook page, which is a local NBC affiliate in Seattle.
Can you help us get in contact with this fan? We attended the game today and my son and I are die-hard Packers fans At the game there was one fan (a 12) who was pretty vulgar to us and said some pretty rude things to me and my 13 year old son Austin. The whole game this guy in a Sherman Jersey was talking to us having a good time…offered to trade jerseys with us (but we did not want to give up our Green and Gold). At the end of the game my son congratulated him on a great game and PJ took off his Sherman Super Bowl Jersey and GAVE it to my son. We were moved to tears…the 12’s showed what being a Seahawk fan is truly about.
KING5 was able to locate Ledorze, who had this to say about the jersey he gave away.
It was an emotional decision at the time — it was my last year’s Super Bowl jersey and Sherman is my favorite player. You attach memories to that. As awesome as those memories are, that kid is never going to forget that moment and that means more to me than that jersey.
Later, KING5 helped both McElravy and Ledorze connect with the former posting his thanks on social media. He also hinted that perhaps he could score another Richard Sherman jersey to return to his friend. Of course, Sherman caught wind of the story and prepared that awesome swag bag for Ledorze.
These are the stories that are not uncommon when it comes to Sherman. He may have quite the mouth on the field and when it comes to the media, but no one can question the type of guy Sherman is off the field.
