With their secondary as weak as its been during the Pete Carroll era, the Seattle Seahawks are wasting no time adding depth to this unit.
Less than a week after their 2016 season came to a conclusion following a loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Seahawks are reportedly signing veteran cornerback Perrish Cox.

Cox, 33, was released by the Tennessee Titans after 11 games this past regular season. That came less than two years after Tennessee signed him to a three-year, $15 million contract.
A fifth-round pick of the Denver Broncos, Cox has started 45 games in four different stops during an unassuming six-year NFL career. He had a brief stint with the Seahawks back in 2013, playing in a total of two games.
This comes on the heels of the Seahawks losing starting cornerback DeShawn Shead to a serious knee injury in the team’s NFC Divisional Playoff loss to the Atlanta Falcons last weeekend. It’s a clear indication that Shead might not be back in time for the 2017 season.
