Extending Heath Miller and Troy Polamalu would have made sense during the Bush Administration, but as the NFL evolves and a new generation of stars take over, it appears that Pittsburgh is stuck in its ways. Currently in salary cap hell, these two extensions make about as much sense as relying on a return to the NFL by one Jeff George.
