Graham’s health has been one of the main storylines through Seattle’s training camp. He’s been progressing well from the injury that ended his 2015 season, but his Week 1 availability has been uncertain.
More recently, Graham’s practices have been more intense, increasing his chances at playing in the opener.
Graham had an uneven 2015 season in Seattle. He caught only 48 passes for 605 yards and two touchdowns in 11 games. All totals were well off of the pace Graham consistently played at from 2010-2014, when he was one of the NFL’s best tight ends as a member of the New Orleans Saints.
The last thing that the rest of the NFL needs is a healthy Graham. The Seahawks already have one of the NFL’s deepest, most talented rosters. A strong return from Graham only makes Seattle a tougher matchup for all of its opponents — especially if he and Russell Wilson develop a stronger chemistry.
