The Seattle Seahawks are currently without star receiver Doug Baldwin, who is dealing with a knee injury head coach Pete Carroll recently said was “a bit of a problem.”
It’s been reported Baldwin could miss the entire preseason slate, but Carroll said Tuesday that he expects him to be ready for the team’s season opener against the Denver Broncos in Denver.
Pete Carroll tells @TheMikeSalk and @BrockESPN that he's not sure if DE Dion Jordan will be available for the season opener in Denver, but WR Doug Baldwin should be.

Baldwin, 29, caught 75 passes for 991 yards and eight touchdowns last season. He’s averaging over 1,000 yards with a 72 percent catch rate over the past three years and is clearly the best receiver Seattle has on its roster.
Especially now that Paul Richardson and Jimmy Graham are playing for new teams this year, Baldwin will be Russell Wilson’s go-to receiver. If he’s healthy, of course.
