Week 12 has the New England Patriots hosting the Detroit Lions where the Pats’ top cornerback Darrelle Revis will be on Calvin Johnson coverage duty. Here are a few extremely complementary remarks Revis had to share about Megatron’s upcoming visit to his island (via Boston Herald).
He’s a man amongst boys out there. You see it all the time. The dude’s 6-foot-6, 230 pounds. And he runs a 4.3. That’s pretty freakish.
Calvin’s 6-6, I don’t know. He’s like an NBA player out there when you’re playing against him.
Revis continued…
It’s like an alternate (universe) receiver that you want. So if you can create him on the video game, that’s basically what he is … I have a lot of respect for him. I feel like our defense has a lot of respect for him. He has a lot of respect around the league as well.
Darrelle Revis called Calvin Johnson a "man among boys." Says at 6-6, 235 & running a 4.3 time in 40, type of WR you'd create in video game.

In what should be a fascinating matchup between Revis and Johnson, Revis’ comments indicate that he truly respects the receiving threat that Johnson poses. Excited fans will have to watch this Sunday to see which powerhouse comes out on top in the real live video-game version which takes place at Gillette Stadium, 1:00 p.m. et.
