Nick Foles trade to the Philadelphia Eagles?

Nick Foles doesn’t seem like the most graceful player, but Nelson Agholor never had a doubt the quarterback would catch his trick-play pass.

Martin Frank of the Delaware News Journal shared Agholor’s praise for Foles, whose 3rd-and-5 reception helped set up a go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter.

The trick play was slightly different than the now-popular “Philly Special” from Super Bowl LII. The Eagles called this one, “Philly Philly.”

Most importantly for the reigning Super Bowl champions, though, it sparked the offense after a lifeless first half. Jay Ajayi finished the drive with a touchdown run, and he added another one later for the 18-12 final score.

Foles encountered his fair share of struggles throughout the night. But when the Eagles needed a big play, they trusted the ultimate athlete.

He didn’t let ’em down.
