Pete Carroll, at the age of 64, is the oldest head coach in the NFL, yet he’s known for his youthful exuberance. Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is a guy who sees him every day, and on Monday he likened the boisterous coach to a certain movie character known for keeping his youthful vitality.

It’s no secret that Bennett is a huge fan of Carroll, whom he recently lauded, saying he “understands the black athlete more than any coach out there.”

Carroll brings high energy to every single practice session, meeting and game he attends. He was known for this trait during his days at USC, and he continues to bring the energy of a 20-year-old young man, rather than a guy well into his golden years.

Though, we would hope that Carroll’s youthful energy doesn’t truly translate to a Benjamin Button-type transformation.

Still, we get Bennett’s point.
