It was just last year that Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett indicated that then New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was the most overrated player in the NFL.
At that time, Bennett also concluded that Graham was “soft.” This came immediately after Seattle defeated New Orleans in the playoffs back in January of 2014.
Seahawks' Michael Bennett called Jimmy Graham soft and the most overrated player in the NFL.

Now teammates after Seattle acquired Graham from the Saints last month, Bennett isn’t changing his tune.
I still feel the same way. Just because he’s on my team I don’t stop feeling that way. Obviously I’m going to be a better teammate to him because he’s on my team. I can’t do the things I was doing to him when we were playing him.
Obviously we are a running team so he is going to have to block and do all those things. I don’t feel as harsh as I did at the time because he’s my teammate now; but at the time he was on the opposite team and we’re pretty good and we battled with him a couple of times and I didn’t really like that too much.”
What page Bennett is exactly on at this time is a bit confusing. He is going to have to make nice with Graham while squashing any talk that he was interested in joining the Atlanta Falcons.
A few weeks ago, reports surfaced that Bennett was seeking a trade. Setting the record straight, Bennett spoke out to the media and denied that he ever requested a trade.
I never asked for it. I didn’t come to them asking for a trade. I’m still trying to figure out how a guy from Dallas can make up a story about me. I’m living in Seattle, I’m like, ‘How does that happen?’ I’m in Hawaii surfing, got the kids surfing in the ocean and they are talking about something else.”
So according to Bennett, he did not request a trade to the Falcons. He also hasn’t changed his opinion regarding Graham being the most overrated player in the NFL.
