Julian Edelman fined over $63K for three separate unnecessary roughness penalties

Last Sunday’s win over the Buffalo Bills was a costly one for New England Patriots receiver Julian Edelman, who was fined by the NFL for three separate incidents.

All three were unnecessary roughness fouls, per Mike Reiss of ESPN, that cost him a grand total of $63,504.

Costly day for Patriots WR Julian Edelman last Sunday vs. Bills, as he was fined for three separate plays — $10,026 for unnecessary roughness, $26,739 for unnecessary roughness & $26,739 for unnecessary roughness ($63,504 total).

Edelman is certainly known for being an emotional player. Clearly, his emotions got the better of him in Week 16.
