Philadelphia Eagles rookie quarterback Carson Wentz is apparently just as hot off the field as he is on it these days. Darren Rovell of ESPN reported Friday that nobody in the NFL has topped Wentz when it comes to jersey sales since the start of the season.
Top selling NFL jerseys since the start of the season: 1. Wentz, 2. Miller, 3. Brown, 4. Elliott, 5. Wilson, 6. Gronkowski, 7. Prescott

Apparently, fans love what they see from the rookie passer, who has been tremendous through four games.
Wentz has completed 67.4 percent of his passes for 1,007 yards with seven touchdowns and just one interception. He has also helped the Eagles start the season 3-1 and nearly brought them back to beat the Detroit Lions last week.
It’s not surprising that fellow rookies Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott are among the top sellers this season, either.
Both of the dynamic rookies have been phenomenal for the Cowboys. Prescott has yet to throw an interception after 155 attempts — a new rookie record — and has seven touchdowns of his own. Meanwhile, Elliott leads the NFL with 546 rushing yards and has added five touchdowns.
Von Miller has been amazing as well, but that’s nothing new. He leads the NFL in sacks with 7.5 and was the AFC Defensive Player of the Month of September.
Mr. sexy time dancer Antonio Brown has racked up some fines with his twerking ways, but obviously fans are eating it up. Russell Wilson remains wildly popular as the leader of the Seattle Seahawks, and Rob Gronkowski continues to dominate jersey sales, even when he’s not dominating on the field.
It’s going to be fascinating to see if the three rookies can continue their hot play, and if they continue to remain hot commodities at team stores.
