Booger McFarland
Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

ESPN’s Booger McFarland has become an easy target for his amusing, all-too-obvious takes in the “Monday Night Football” booth. Ahead of the 2020 NFL Draft, he once again played Captain Obvious on Twitter.

Making an observation that may have been salient about 20 years ago, he wrote that “the name of the NFL now is draft players that can affect the passing game both offensively and defensively … follow that plan and your draft will be great.”

In other words, the NFL is a passing league now (hang on a second while I pick my jaw off the floor).

Not surprisingly, the reactions to this tweet were hilarious.

Never change, Booger.
