Teams are jockeying for draft positions and playoff spots with all 32 teams playing either 11 or 12 games. With much of the season already decided, it’s time to evaluate each team’s performance. Some teams have earned an A+, while others are flunking their way to an F. How does your team’s NFL report card look before Week 13?

Arizona Cardinals: F

NFL: Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys
Kevin Jairaj-Imagn Images

Jacoby Brissett has injected a breath of fresh air into Arizona’s offense, but it hasn’t led to any more wins for Jonathan Gannon’s squad. He may have at least earned a chance to compete for the starting role again next season if nothing else, but whether the coaching staff will still be there remains to be seen after a 3-9 start.

Atlanta Falcons: F

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

Kirk Cousins has performed well, but not quite good enough to reclaim a starting job. Otherwise, Atlanta’s overall effort just hasn’t been good enough in a year where they were expecting to compete for a playoff spot. Not only did they just lose to the Jets, the Falcons traded their 2026 first-round pick away back in April. It doesn’t get much worse than where Atlanta is headed.

Baltimore Ravens: C

Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

Just when the Ravens clawed their way back into the playoff picture, they get embarrassed by an even hungrier Bengals team that just got their superhero back. Baltimore’s defense had been playing like the league’s best, keeping opponents under 20 points for six consecutive games, but they dropped the ball against Burrow, allowing 32 points in one of their worst efforts of the season.

Buffalo Bills: B+

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Carolina Panthers
Jim Dedmon-Imagn Images

The Bills not only returned to the victory column, they did so with a convincing 26-7 win over the desperate Steelers. Josh Allen was far from his best, but it was a great reminder of how the Bills can win when the weather conditions are far from ideal, playing in 30+ mph winds. That’s a recipe for success in the playoffs.

Carolina Panthers: A+

NFL: Carolina Panthers at Atlanta Falcons
Brett Davis-Imagn Images

Did you think the Panthers would be 7-6 this season? Many didn’t. Most also expected them to get steamrolled by the Rams, who had been looking like bonafide Super Bowl contenders. We instead saw more great play from Bryce Young, who’s been much better as of late. A+ effort from Dave Canales’ team, especially considering their expectations coming into the year.

Chicago Bears: A+

NFL: Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings
Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

Sitting in first place of an incredibly tough NFC North division has the Bears earning an A+ grade in Ben Johnson’s first season. There are still many moments of inconsistency from Caleb Williams, but the Bears have a good enough roster that they’re winning in spite of the former No. 1 overall pick’s shaky play.

Cincinnati Bengals: D-

Joe Burrow’s return led to a convincing win for the Bengals again. Is it too little, too late for a 4-8 team? Perhaps if the defense wasn’t so bad when they needed to support Joe Flacco and Jake Browning. Yet, we’re willing to give the Bengals a shot, as their offense is as good as anyone’s when Burrow’s leading the way.

Cleveland Browns: F

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns
Ken Blaze-Imagn Images

Cleveland’s strong rookie class continues to develop, which is exactly what was needed headed into a rebuilding season. Shedeur Sanders looks more like the Browns’ franchise QB than Dillon Gabriel has and Myles Garrett is on pace to set the NFL record for the most sacks in a single season. The question is, will Kevin Stefanski return next season?

Dallas Cowboys: B-

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at New York Jets
Robert Deutsch-Imagn Images

Back-to-back 300+ yard games against top-ten defenses show how good this Cowboys offense can be with Dak Prescott leading the way. There are still questions on defense, but the Cowboys are getting it done as of late, and the trade deadline additions are playing a major role.

Denver Broncos: A+

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos
Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images

The Broncos gave their fans a scare by allowing the Commanders to take them to OT, but it didn’t matter with the team delivering in the clutch on both sides of the ball. Winners of nine of a row, and they haven’t all been pretty, but it’s hard to argue with Denver’s overall success on both sides of the ball.

Detroit Lions: C+

The Lions just don’t have the same magic as last season. Losing their offensive and defensive coordinator surely hasn’t helped. But it also perhaps shows some cracks in Dan Campbell’s approach with Ben Johnson no longer calling plays in Detroit. We’ve seen multiple coaching mistakes on offense, which can’t be easy to stomach for the team’s best playmakers.

Green Bay Packers: A-

NFL: Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers
Barry Reeger-Imagn Images

Trading for Micah Parsons put a lot of pressure on the Packers, but they’re living up to the billing on both sides of the ball. Jordan Love hasn’t been slowed down, even after not having Christian Watson to start the season and after Tucker Kraft’s absence as of late. Overall, the Packers look like one of the NFC’s best teams.

Houston Texans: B-

NFL: Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans
Steve Roberts-Imagn Images

Many teams wrote the Texans off after a 0-3 start. Yet, they’ve done well to bounce back into the playoff picture with four consecutive wins. Houston’s top-three defense has kept them engaged, but they’ve gotten a big boost from Davis Mills, too. We’ll see how they handle the end of the season, but even being back in the conversation is impressive.

Indianapolis Colts: A

NFL: Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts
Robert Goddin-Imagn Images

The Colts’ red-hot start has noticeably cooled off in Indianapolis after losing three of their past four games. Daniel Jones dealing with a fractured fibula didn’t help on Sunday, but we’re curious to see if the Colts can get back to their winning ways after dealing with their recent adversity with Sauce Gardner now ailing too.

Jacksonville Jaguars: A-

Syndication: Florida Times-Union
Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Trevor Lawrence avoided turnovers on Sunday, and it helped lead to the Jaguars’ third win in a row. Liam Coen surprisingly has Jacksonville in the playoff picture in his first season as head coach. While they’ve dealt with some serious injuries, including to Travis Hunter, this team keeps fighting.

Kansas City Chiefs: C-

NFL: Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs
Denny Medley-Imagn Images

Going just 1-3 in their past four games has Kansas City’s season on the rocks. Patrick Mahomes has never missed the playoffs in his seven-year NFL career, but he’s already tied his career-high in losses for a single season. Kansas City even has a top-ten offense and defense, but somehow they’re just .500.

Las Vegas Raiders: F

NFL: Las Vegas Raiders at Kansas City Chiefs
Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn Images

Geno Smith was a bit better in the first Raiders game without Chip Kelly, finishing with just five incompletions. Yet, it didn’t lead to any better results in the Raiders’ 17-point loss. Now there are even questions as to whether Pete Carroll will return for a second season.

Los Angeles Chargers: B+

Syndication: Florida Times-Union
Corey Perrine/Florida Times-Union / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

We’ve seen the Chargers look like one of the NFL’s best teams at times this season, and if it weren’t for all their injuries, maybe their record would reflect that. Still, Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert have done a great job of helping keep the team together in times of adversity, and that should serve them better in the long run.

Los Angeles Rams: A+

NFL: London Games-Los Angeles Rams at Jacksonville Jaguars
Kirby Lee-Imagn Images

One tough loss doesn’t change the Rams’ season outlook. The Panthers played their hearts out, but it’s not like the Rams didn’t show up to play too. Plus, perhaps the Rams getting served a piece of humble pie will help them keep their heads level.

Miami Dolphins: D+

NFL: Miami Dolphins at Atlanta Falcons
Dale Zanine-Imagn Images

Three wins in a row have the Dolphins somewhat salvaging a lost season, which could be saving Mike McDaniel’s job. Plus, Tua Tagovailoa needed a strong finish to instill confidence in a locker room that’s had a tough season. We’ll see how they respond over the next few weeks.

Minnesota Vikings: F

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings
Jeffrey Becker-Imagn Images

Whether it’s J.J. McCarthy or Max Brosmer, the Vikings can’t get respectable production from their young quarterbacks this season. Though, the Brian Flores-led defense was back to being elite on Sunday, bringing an enormous amount of pressure to Sam Darnold. Still, with no offensive output, the Vikings don’t have a chance. It’s time to keep a closer eye on the draft order than playoff positioning.

New England Patriots: A+

NFL: Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots
Bob DeChiara-Imagn Images

A 10-game win streak and the best record in the AFC? It’s safe to say the Patriots have aced the season so far, and there’s really nothing they can do to ruin their grade before the playoffs begin. Just the fact that the Patriots are in this position is a giant win. But the fact that they could claim the No. 1 seed? No one saw that coming.

New Orleans Saints: F

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

We’ll give the Saints some credit for staying close with a Dolphins team that has played much better as of late. Tyler Shough seems to be improving as of late, which is another good sign in Kellen Moore’s first season as head coach. Still, we expect a much larger roster overhaul this offseason in New Orleans.

New York Giants: F

NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Bill Streicher-Imagn Images

Jaxson Dart just missed the past two starts with a concussion, but that didn’t prevent him from tossing his body back into the fire. The Giants managed to make things a bit clsoer in garbage time, but make no mistake, the Giants got whooped by the Patriots, much like they have all season. This defense is atrocious, but there’s hope for the offense to have a quick turnaround next season once the playmakers return to health.

New York Jets: D

NFL: New York Jets at New England Patriots
David Butler II-Imagn Images

Three wins in their past five games show that the Jets’ locker room hasn’t given up on Aaron Glenn. Their strong play as of late could be the deciding factor in bringing Glenn back for a second season, where they’ll once again try to find a new franchise quarterback.

Philadelphia Eagles: B

NFL: New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles
Eric Hartline-Imagn Images

Losing two games in a row is alarming for the reigning Super Bowl champions, but it could be a lot worse, just ask the Chiefs. But Jalen Hurts’ consistency has been an issue all season long, and so has their rushing attack. At this point, we don’t expect Philadelphia to look elite again this year, but perhaps we’ll be wrong after they experience so much adversity.

Pittsburgh Steelers: C

Syndication: Beaver County Times
Michael Longo / For USA Today Network / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

Pittsburgh has slipped to .500, which is a bit surprising after they brought in Aaron Rodgers to replace Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Of course, Mike Tomlin has never had a losing season, so doing so with a former four-time NFL MVP at the helm would come as a shock. Yet, Pittsburgh’s defense hasn’t been anywhere near elite, which puts a lot of unneeded pressure on the offense.

San Francisco 49ers: B+

NFL: San Francisco 49ers at Houston Texans
Sean Thomas-Imagn Images

Mac Jones has been better than Brock Purdy has, which could force an interesting conversation this offseason. But as long as the 49ers keep winning, no one will get too upset in San Francisco. Of course, it helps that Robert Saleh’s defense is flirting with a top-ten unit.

Seattle Seahawks: A+

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders
Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

A top-ten offense and defense has the Seahawks looking like Super Bowl contenders, but Sam Darnold hit a bump in the road against his former team, finishing with a new season-low 128 passing yards. Still, he won’t have to face the type of pressure Brian Flores dials up on a weekly basis. Plus, Seattle still dominated, getting a 26-point shutout.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B-

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints
Stephen Lew-Imagn Images

The Bucs returned to the victory column after three consecutive losses, but it wasn’t always pretty. The Bucs were outgained by over 100 yards, but they won the turnover battle, and that ended up being the difference. Tampa Bay remains on the fringe of the playoff race, but they’ll need a strong finish to stay there.

Tennessee Titans: F

Syndication: The Tennessean
Denny Simmons / The Tennessean / USA TODAY NETWORK via Imagn Images

It doesn’t get any worse than the Titans in 2025. They not only have the NFL’s worst record, but Tennessee just got dismantled, 25-3. Cam Ward has shown signs of growth at times, but like this week, he’s often regressed back to bottom-tier production. We’re just curious to see how they smash that reset button again this offseason.

Washington Commanders: F

NFL: Denver Broncos at Washington Commanders
Geoff Burke-Imagn Images

The good news is Jayden Daniels is getting closer to a potential return, but it’s not like Marcus Mariota played badly against the Broncos. Instead we’ve seen the Commanders regress back to the norm across the board this season, and Dan Quinn better get this thing figured out quickly before doubts start to creep in.
