The state of Florida leads the way in terms of NFL popularity these days. Cincinnati Bengals rookie Joe Burrow is the lone exception.

We’re talking NFL jersey sales rankings here.

Joe Burrow is the only non-Floridian to crack the top 10 in NFL jersey sales

As we’ve previously shared, Miami Dolphins rookie Tua Tagovailoa is the most popular player in the NFL right now. He owns both of the top two-selling jerseys in the league.

After Burrow, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has the next four jerseys, with Rob Gronkowski coming in seventh. Finally, in the seventh spot, Burrow makes an appearance.

It’s not surprising that Brady and Gronk dominate the top 10 so much. They are some of the most popular players the NFL has seen in years. And now they’re teamed up again in Florida without Bill Belichick breathing down their necks.

Tagovailoa has been one of the hottest names in football for a few years. So it’s not surprising to see South Beach embrace his hype like this.

That Cincinnati’s rookie is getting the kind of play he is is a bit surprising, however. The Bengals are one of the least popular teams in the league. Clearly, Burrow is helping them move the needle in a positive way.
