Shohei Ohtani signs record-breaking 10-year contract with Los Angeles Dodgers

The most anticipated free agent in MLB history has found a new team with the Los Angeles Dodgers. In signing a 10-year, $700 million contract, Ohtani becomes MLB’s highest-paid player, in addition to the highest-earning athlete in the entire sports world.

While his presence on the mound won’t be felt in 2024, Ohtani’s signing gives the Dodgers a lethal lineup that NL teams won’t be able to match.

Winners, losers from the NBA In-Season Championship

The first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament Championship was advertised. In a classic matchup of the Midwest versus Hollywood, the inaugural in-season championship game delivered a thriller.

While the biggest attraction in Las Vegas was LeBron James, it was Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves who stepped up under the brightest lights. Reaves lit up the first half, while Davis delivered his best performance of the season.
