The New York Yankees released outfielder Clint Frazier and infielder Rougned Odor on Monday.

The move comes four days after the club designated the players for assignment, along with infielder/outfielder Tyler Wade. New York traded Wade to the Los Angeles Angels Monday.

Frazier has spent his entire MLB career with the Yankees, seeing action in 228 games over parts of five seasons since 2017. The 27-year-old is a .239 hitter with 29 career home runs and 97 RBIs.

In 66 games in 2021, he posted a career-low .186 batting average with five homers, nine doubles and 15 RBIs.

New York acquired Odor and cash considerations from the Texas Rangers in April in exchange for minor leaguers Antonio Cabello and Josh Stowers. Odor manned second base and sometimes third base for the Yankees after ever playing just second or designated hitter for Texas.

Odor batted .202 in 102 games with 15 homers and 39 RBIs. In his first seven MLB seasons, all with Texas, Odor was a .237 batter, collecting 146 home runs and 458 RBIs.
