New Orleans Saints quarterback Taysom Hill returned as a full participant in practice Thursday after missing two games with a concussion.

Hill was upgraded after he was limited in Wednesday’s practice for the 5-2 Saints.

With Hill on track to return Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons (3-4), the big question is whether he or Trevor Siemian will get the nod to start at quarterback.

Siemian replaced Jameis Winston (ACL) last week and went 16-of-29 passing for 159 yards and a touchdown, with no interceptions in a 36-27 win over Tampa Bay.

“Honestly, he came in the game and shocked me,” Saints wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith said of Siemian. “He looked very comfortable in the pocket, he stood in the pocket, he took some hits and still delivered the ball. That just amazed me. He definitely looked like he was ready to play, like no hiccups. He was definitely ready to play.”

Starting Siemian would keep Hill in a swiss army knife role. He has 77 yards rushing with three touchdowns and three catches for 37 yards from spots all over the field.

Also Thursday, Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins (knee) was limited after not practicing on Wednesday. DE Carl Granderson (shoulder) and wide receiver Ty Montgomery (hamstring) were the only Saints out of practice. Defensive end Payton Turner (calf) and tackle Terron Armstead (groin) were limited.

The Saints have won three straight.
