If Milwaukee Bucks big man Larry Sanders had actually gone through the entire shooting motion and nailed a layup in the wrong basket, head coach Jason Kidd probably would have thrown a conniption fit.

As it is, Sanders’ on-court confusion led to a pretty hilarious situation following a jump ball against the Philadelpia 76ers on Friday night.

The look on Kidd’s face was almost as awesome as the play itself. And I join the announcers in saying that there were nightmares that involved this scenario when I grew up playing basketball.

Some may think Sanders is a complete idiot, but this has almost happened to a few NBA players over the years. It might be a bad look, but it is completely understandable.

Milwaukee ended up beating Philadelphia 93-81 as Sanders put up a game-high 15 rebounds.

All in good fun.
