In case he wasn’t already a legend in the Boston area, former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe has etched his name in stone among the greatest sports legends the city has ever seen.

It has nothing to do with Bledsoe’s stellar nine-year career in New England. Instead, it’s all about Bledsoe’s antics off the court during the Boston Celtics’ conference semifinals matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.

By now it’s already known. Drew has made headlines due to Celtics guard Terry Rozier trolling Milwaukee Bucks counterpart Eric Bledsoe during Round 1 of the playoffs. In fact, the two met up prior to Wednesday’s Game 5 between Boston and Philadelphia.

Following the Celtics’s series-clinching Game 5 win, Drew Bledsoe was out there on the podium for a Q&A with reporters. And it was all sorts of brilliant.

“Terry Rosé” and “it’s going to have a great finish.”

Bledsoe is a fool for this.

In case you were wondering, Bledsoe does in fact own a wine company. We’re also going to go out on a limb and suggest that Rozier’s wine will be of the red variety. After all, he’s played like a cold-blooded killer during the playoffs.

Anyway, this is just so darn well done by Drew Bledsoe. We have to give credit where it’s due.
