After social media lit up with alleged nude photos of Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry, it now appears that the photos are a hoax.
According to The San Francisco Chronicle, team sources indicated the photo is not of Curry whatsoever. The agent for the three-time NBA champion and two-time NBA MVP also confirmed the photos aren’t of Curry, per The Daily Mail.
Not much has gone right for the Warriors and Curry this season. He underwent a second surgery after suffering a broken hand early in the season. Meanwhile, Golden State (5-24) has the worst record in the NBA.
At least the Warriors have one less controversy to deal with this season now that the photo is known to be a hoax. Now it won’t have to be a storyline when Golden State faces the Houston Rockets on Christmas.
