LeBron James has put together one of the best individual performances the NBA Finals has ever showcased. However, his dominance hasn’t contributed to enough wins for the Cleveland Cavaliers, who now face elimination.
The Golden State Warriors own a 3-2 series lead, so the 2015 Finals MVP honor may be awarded Tuesday night. But according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, LeBron isn’t in the mood for individual recognition.
LeBron winning MVP if Cavs lose Finals: "I wouldn't feel good about it at all. I'm here to win a team prize not an individual prize."

James is currently averaging 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game, numbers that have helped Cleveland, despite missing three starters, put up a respectable fight against Golden State.
The only other player to win the Finals MVP while playing for the losing team was Jerry West in 1969.
Game 6 is slated to tip off at 9 p.m. ET, and ABC will broadcast the potential series-clinching matchup.
