The Philadelphia 76ers made sure to put the Brooklyn Nets away early in Game 5 of their first-round playoff series Tuesday night.

Philadelphia opened up a 20-plus point lead about midway through the opening stanza before heading into halftime up 60-31. Joel Embiid was dominant.

The Nets couldn’t shoot worth a darn, tallying up a 28 percent mark in the first two quarters.

Needless to the NBA world had its reactions to Philadelphia’s dominant first-half performance as the team looks to wrap this series up.
