It was just two long months ago that the sports world was looking forward to what was going to be one heck of an NBA Playoff slate.

No longer were the Golden State Warriors the top dog out west after five years of domination. The two Southern California NBA teams were set to do battle at some point in the playoffs. Back east, the Milwaukee Bucks were chasing history and looking at potentially taking on the Lakers or Clippers in the NBA Finals.

Alas, it was not to be. Back on March, Utah Jazz star center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19. It led to the NBA suspending its season. Now, five weeks later, the future status of the 2019-20 campaign remains very much up in the air.

A sad milestone came Saturday when sports fans were reminded that the NBA Playoffs were scheduled to start. Needless to say, people were up in their feels about it.
