NBA fines Warriors’ Steve Kerr $25,000 for verbally abusing official

Steve Kerr fined

The Golden State Warriors are in the midst of one of their worst seasons of the past decade. Winners of five consecutive Western Conference titles, nothing has gone right for this squad in its new San Francisco digs.

It’s led to frustration from head coach Steve Kerr and Co. That boiled over in the first half of Monday’s loss to the Sacramento Kings.

Kerr went absolutely ballistic with officiating during the team’s latest loss, getting run by officials in dramatic fashion.

The three-time NBA championship head coach has now been fined $25,000 by the league office for this tirade.

Kerr has joined the likes of Draymond Green in getting tossed from games for the 9-29 Warriors.

Losing isn’t fun. But there’s a certain way to handle it. Apparently, Mr. Kerr hasn’t found that happy medium yet. And it’s now cost him in the pocket book.
