Nashville Predators forward Ryan Johansen is considered week-to-week with an upper-body injury, coach John Hynes announced on Monday.

Johansen, 28, appeared to sustain the injury in Nashville’s 6-5 overtime victory versus the Florida Panthers on Thursday. He sat out the third period of that contest and again in the following day’s 2-1 setback to the Panthers.

“Ryan Johansen is going to go on IR today, and he’s week-to-week so we’ll re-evaluate him at the end of the week,” Hynes said.

Johansen has four points — all assists — in 10 games this season for the Predators, who host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday.

Johansen has recorded 446 points (144 goals, 302 assists) in 670 career games with the Columbus Blue Jackets and Predators. He was selected by the Blue Jackets with the fourth overall pick of the 2010 NHL Draft.
