
Baseball has a long summer in front of it and not all the greatest moments will happen on the field. Special pairings, classic stadiums or occasions for fans to get closer to the game, there is a lot to get excited about. These are the five MLB events that you should definitely keep an eye on this summer:
5. HBCU Swingman Classic — Atlanta, July 11, 2025

All-Star Week kicks off on July 11 at Truist Park as the HBCU Swingman Classic brings together the best talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Created by baseball legend Ken Griffey Jr., this is all about celebrating diversity and giving these young players a real chance to show what they’ve got on a big stage.
4. Mariners Drone Show Night — August 22, 2025

On August 22, the Mariners are bringing something new with Drone Show Night at T-Mobile Park. After the match there will be an awesome light display when hundreds of drones fly and illuminate above the stadium. It’s a cool and high-tech and way to end the night and something that fans of all ages will enjoy.
3. MLB Little League Classic — Mariners vs. Mets, August 17, 2025

On August 17, the Mariners play the Mets at Bowman Field in Williamsport. It’s part of the Little League Classic that’s held with the Little League World Series. Players meet some of the young fans before the game, so it becomes a unique celebration with the feel of a small, intimate ballpark.
2. MLB Speedway Classic — Braves vs. Reds, August 2, 2025

Baseball and motorsports collide at the first-ever MLB Speedway Classic as the Braves play the Reds at Bristol Motor Speedway. A unique night that combines baseball with NASCAR’s legendary atmosphere. With over 100,000 fans expected, this might just break the regular season attendance record. Plus, there’s a pregame concert with Tim McGraw and Pitbull.
1. MLB All-Star Week — July 11–15, 2025

This July, Truist Park is the place to be for baseball fans. It all starts on the 11th with the HBCU Swingman Classic, then keep rolling with the Futures Game and Celebrity Softball on the 12th. The MLB Draft is on the 13th, then the Home Run Derby on the 14th. And of course, it all leads up to the main event: the 95th MLB All-Star Game on the 15th. A full week of the game’s best players and thousands of fans to celebrate baseball.
