The Minnesota Vikings are expected to sign former Pittsburgh Steeler Jordan Berry to be their new punter this season, ESPN and NFL Network reported Thursday.

Britton Colquitt is out as the Vikings’ punter.

The Steelers released the 30-year-old Berry earlier this week — part of a special teams overhaul — after six seasons. Berry averaged 44.4 yards per punt in 91 career games for the Steelers.

Colquitt, 36, averaged 45.1 yards per punt the past two seasons in Minnesota. He has averaged 45.4 yards per punt in 176 career games with the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns and Vikings.
