Milwaukee Bucks starting guard Donte DiVincenzo has sustained a tendon injury in his left foot and will miss the remainder of the playoffs, The Athletic reported on Friday.
DiVincenzo, 24, missed all four of his shots from the floor and finished without a point in the Bucks’ 113-84 victory over the Miami Heat on Thursday in Game 3 of their Eastern Conference first-round series. The Bucks announced his injury as a foot contusion when he exited.
Milwaukee holds a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven series heading into Game 4 on Saturday in Miami.
The third-year veteran averaged career-best totals in points (10.4), rebounds (5.8) and assists (3.1) in 66 games this season.
Bryn Forbes, who scored 22 points in Game 2, joins Pat Connaughton and Jeff Teague as options to step into DiVincenzo’s spot for the Bucks.
