Mike Tomlin has terse response to James Harrison’s comments

Mike Tomlin

James Harrison recently took some pot shots at his old coach, Mike Tomlin. On Wednesday ahead of training camp, the Pittsburgh Steelers head coach fired back with a shot of his own.

During an appearance on Fox Sports, Harrison said that Bill Belichick is a better head coach than Tomlin, and he criticized Tomlin for having favorites in the locker room, among other things.

For what it’s worth, Steelers veterans responded to these comments on Wednesday, too, basically coming to Tomlin’s defense with a “who cares?” approach to any potential favoritism.

Harrison was released by Tomlin’s Steelers last year before landing in New England. Needless to say, there might be some sour grapes involved here.
