Mike Mayock issues ultimatum to Antonio Brown, who skipped practice over helmet

Antonio Brown was not at practice Sunday, missing the team’s final training camp practice of the summer, and he skipped out over his helmet.

The league closed a loophole on Saturday to ensure that Brown cannot wear his preferred helmet, even if it was less than 10 years old. On Sunday, Brown skipped out on practice, drawing some stern words from general manager Mike Mayock.

This is not the way the Raiders were hoping any of this would play out.

Following his freak foot injury due to cyrotherapy, Brown left camp amid a grievance filed against the NFL over his helmet. After losing that battle, he arrived back at camp, his agent in tow, and said he’d be getting back to business.

Then, this happened.

The drama never seems to end when Antonio Brown is involved.
