Mike Leach, fresh off his big-money deal with Mississippi State, already has a huge love affair with the food in the state of Mississippi, which he says is a “dominant deal’ during recruiting.

Speaking with ESPN, Leach said that food in other states where coaches have to recruit, “pretty much sucks compared to here in the state of Mississippi, and so that’s a dominant deal that we have.”

Leach then said he is “getting to the point where it’s important for me to make choices on all these delicious items” after sampling so much good food this winter.

Always good for a golden quote, Leach has clearly upped his game now that he’s back coaching in the SEC.
