Twitter wasn’t the only place Lonzo Ball’s new shoes got roasted Thursday. They also took a beating from an unlikely source: Golden State Warriors interim head coach Mike Brown.
When asked if he would buy Ball’s $500 shoes for his kids, Brown laughed, then laughed some more. He got out a solitary word: “No,” repeated it a couple times, before exiting the podium giggling.

If this is a taste of how Lonzo Ball (and Lavar Ball) will be treated in the NBA, it’s welcome. Someone needs to get it through their heads (mostly LaVar’s) that the Balls can’t go around doing ridiculous things like this for the next 10 years.
If that person is Mike Brown, so be it.
