The Miami Dolphins agreed to trade offensive lineman Ereck Flowers to Washington, multiple outlets reported Tuesday.

The move frees up salary cap space for Miami, which signed Flowers to a three-year, $30 million deal last year. Flowers is set to make $9 million this season.

The teams will also swap late-round picks, per the reports.

Flowers returns to Washington after starting all 16 games there at guard in 2019.

Flowers was drafted ninth overall by the New York Giants in the 2015 draft. He played in 51 games (48 starts) for the Giants in three seasons. He started 14 games for Miami last season.
