After suffering an ankle injury in Week 7, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is questionable to play on Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Ryan missed consecutive days of practice this week before returning to the field on Friday. He practiced in a limited capacity, which is an improvement after rehabbing his ankle injury on Wednesday and Thursday. Still, his status may not be determined until Saturday.

Atlanta’s star quarterback is one of the few players who has played well this season. He’s currently on pace for4,960 passing yards and 34 touchdowns, marks similar to those he achieved as the NFL MVP in 2016.

If Ryan is unable to play on Sunday, 38-year-old Matt Schaub would fill-in as Atlanta’s starting quarterback against the Seahawks.
