It’s no secret that Philadelphia Eagles fans can get rowdy and loud. So it’s not surprising in the least to hear that the Mall of America felt the need to lay down the law when Eagles fans started getting loud on Friday.

Security at Mall of America actually threatened to kick Eagles fans out after they started chanting “E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!”

“After a particularly raucous moment and loud Eagles cheer on Friday afternoon, security was on the case looking for who started the chant,” wrote Josh Ellis of NBC Sports Philadelphia. We were told by mall security that fans starting the Eagles cheer would be given a warning before eventually being removed from the establishment for starting the chant.”

Of course, the fact that the Eagles dominated the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game likely has a little something to do with all this.

All you need to know about that as it relates to this story is that Eagles players are having a hard time getting dinner reservations and Eagles fans have been greeted with some not-so-nice messages at local bars.

Clearly, there is no love lost between these two franchises. And of course, some of the reports of bad behavior by Eagles fans against Vikings fans two weekends ago certainly does not help matters. Though, to be fair, Vikings fans did something while in Philly that likely balances the scales, at least in the minds of Philly fans.
