Luka Doncic tops Kevin Durant in early ASG voting

Luka Doncic fever has clearly spread well beyond Dallas. Early All-Star voting results were released on Thursday and the Dallas Mavericks rookie is in good shape.

Doncic has the fourth-most frontcourt votes in the entire NBA. In the West, he trails only LeBron James, putting him ahead of both Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis.

Doncic has taken the NBA by storm in his rookie season. He’s averaging 19.5 points, 6.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game on shooting 43.6 percent from the field.

Time will tell if Doncic holds his position over such a talented group of frontcourt players in the Western Conference. But he’s certainly made a strong impression in the early going.
