The Los Angeles Dodgers placed left-hander David Price on the injured list Monday with a right hamstring strain and filled his roster spot by activating second baseman Gavin Lux.

The Dodgers also activated Dennis Santana from the injured list, recalled fellow right-hander Mitch White from the alternate site and optioned left-hander Garrett Cleavinger and outfielder DJ Peters.

Price, 35, is 1-0 with one save and a 5.59 ERA in seven relief appearances in 2021. He is in his first active season with the club after opting out of the 2020 season.

Lux, 23, returns to the team after missing 10 days with right wrist soreness. He is batting .220 with five RBIs and four runs scored in 13 games this season.
