The Los Angeles Chargers put defensive linemen Joey Bosa and Jerry Tillery on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.

The three-time Pro Bowler Bosa has 5.5 sacks on the season while Tillery has 2.5. Bosa has played 83 percent of the team’s defensive snaps and Tillery 81 percent.

It’s unclear if the pair are vaccinated. If they are, they still have a shot to play this week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. If they’re not, they will have to miss at least 10 days. They join linebacker Drue Tranquill on the COVID list.

Bosa has 28 tackles, 11 hits on the quarterback and three forced fumbles on the season. Tillery has 30 tackles and eight quarterback hits.

The Sunday night contest in L.A. is an important one for both teams. The Chargers (5-4) are tied in the loss column of the AFC West with the Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders. The Steelers (5-3-1) are looking up at the Baltimore Ravens in the packed-together AFC North.

The Steelers put Minkah Fitzpatrick on the COVID list Monday and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger missed Week 10 on the list and has yet to be cleared to come off.
