LOOK: Warriors’ Kevin Durant goes cryptic ahead of Game 4

Golden State Warriors star Kevin Durant is not interested in what the media has to say. He’s certainly not interested in the plethora of reports indicating a departure from the Warriors in free agency this summer.

Set to miss his ninth consecutive outing with a calf injury as his Warriors take on the Toronto Raptors in Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday, Durant took to Instagram to post a cryptic message.

What Durant’s talking about here is anyone’s guess. This was sent about the same time that rumors started heating up linking Durant to the Brooklyn Nets in free agency.

Durant has also been linked to the New York Knicks a whole lot in recent months.

Then again, the big story surrounding Durant right now is his injury. The two-time reigning NBA Finals MVP has already been ruled out of Friday’s must-win game for the Warriors. Is he talking about the injury and its severity?

Fans in Northern California are surely hoping that this social media post is indicating a return to the Warriors. Could that be?

Even when Durant isn’t on the court, he finds a way to make news. A lot of that has to do with the media’s infatuation with him. But he’s not an innocent bystander here.
