New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas

The NFL decided that it made sense to deploy embattled official Bill Vinovich for Super Bowl LIV in Miami next month.

Vinovich is best known for that non-call on a blatant Los Angeles Rams pass interference against the New Orleans Saints in the 2019 NFC Championship Game.

The past calendar year has been filled with drama surrounding said non-call. Heck, even the NFL initiated instant replay following the mess in Nola.

Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas had himself a hilarious reaction to Wednesday’s news on social media.

This is absolutely hilarious stuff here.

Perhaps, Thomas is wrong. Vinovich could have flags, but has no idea what pocket he put them in.

We’ll stop before the NFL fines us, too.
