The plans for the stadium also include a patio inside the ballpark with fountain seating, an improvement over the tank that is currently in Tropicana Field.

According to Marc Topkin of The Tampa Bay Times, the stadium would have a total capacity of 30,842 seats. It would be the smallest seat capacity in the majors.
Tropicana Field opened in 1990 and the Rays started playing in it in 1995. Located outside of the main city, the Rays have been looking to build a new stadium for over five years.
