Philadelphia 76ers big man Joel Embiid was out there recruiting LeBron James immediately after the Cleveland Cavaliers were swept out of the NBA Finals by the Golden State Warriors.
Apparently, Mr. Embiid has gotten word that King James is unlikely to sign with his Sixers and is almost guaranteed to land out in the west coast with the Los Angeles Lakers.
And he’s not taking it too well.
The Lakers are FOREVER gonna be Kobe’s and Magic’s team…. Process that

Pointing out the obvious, Los Angeles is almost literally Magic Johnson’s team. He’s currently their president. Though, we’re pretty sure that’s not what Embiid meant here.
One of the issues with LeBron potentially heading to the Lakers is the fact that it’s among the most historical franchises in Association history. Magic and Kobe Bryant won five titles during their stints with the Lakers.
James is free to make his decision. But choosing the Lakers would come with some push back. Embiid has obviously already started that narrative.
