The NFL of petty was out in full force on social media following the blockbuster trade of Jamal Adams from the New York Jets to the Seattle Seahawks.

After months of drama between Adams and the Jets, they finally moved on from the All-Pro safety.

Adams’ former teammate, running back Le’Veon Bell, seemingly threw shade in the safety’s direction on Twitter following the trade.

Adams has responded in kind with what seems to be a threat regarding his new Seahawks team taking on the Jets Week 14.

No one noticed any bad blood between Adams and Bell during their one season together in New Jersey. Obviously, that isn’t the case.

Interestingly enough, Bell has also had some issues with the Jets’ front office and head coach Adam Gase since they signed him to a lucrative deal during the spring of 2019.

Apparently, the bad blood does not end there.

It will certainly be fun to watch these two go at it as opponents come Week 14. Expect some big hits to be flying around the field in the Pacific Northwest Dec. 13.
