There’s this pretty dumb conspiracy going around following Monday night’s huge clash between the San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks.

With the game headed to overtime tied at 24, Richard Sherman and Geno Smith took to the center of the field for the coin flip.

To some, it appears that Smith called tails. The officials indicated he called heads, enabling Seattle to win the toss.

You be the judge.

Smith himself took to social media on Tuesday and provided us with an all-time great troll job.

There’s nothing not great about this tweet. We’ve seen controversies like this in the past. Players purposely sounding like they called both heads and tails.

It’s a pretty dumb controversy. Seattle did not score on its opening possession of overtime. Not until the 49ers missed a field goal towards the end of the extra stanza did Seattle come away with a walk-off win on a field goal.
