It was a sunny day at Wrigley Field. Cubs fans were expecting their first-place team to take care of business against the New York Mets.
That did not happen. Led by the heavy bat of Pete Alonso, the Mets took a whopping 9-0 lead into the bottom of the fifth inning.
Chicago’s social media team certainly wasn’t feeling it and decided to go troll-so-hard on themselves on Twitter.
