LOOK: Cowboys’ Taco Charlton looking to force a trade

Former Dallas Cowboys first-round pick Taco Charlton is a healthy inactive for Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins. It’s the second consecutive game to open the season that Charlton has been sidelined.

This comes amid reports that the Cowboys are looking to trade the still-young defensive end.

Doing as much as he can to make that happen, Charlton took to social media Sunday to make it clear he wants out of town.

A first-round pick back in 2017, Charlton has not panned out. The Michigan product has recorded a combined 11 quarterback hits and four sacks in 27 games (seven starts).

Dallas had discussions with teams about Charlton ahead of its final preseason cuts. However, nothing came to fruition on that end.

With the 24-year-old defender now making it clear he wants out of dodge, something could happen here soon.
