LOOK: Alabama restaurant trolls Central Florida with participation trophy

By now it’s well known that Central Florida views itself to be the reigning college football national champs over Alabama. In fact, the program just recently unveiled a national championship banner in their stadium during their spring game last weekend.

Despite finishing with an undefeated regular season record, Central Florida was left out of the College Football Playoff. It then went on to defeat Auburn in the Peach Bowl with Alabama taking out Georgia in the National Title game.

While those in Florida might view the Knights as national champs, people in Alabama justifiably think it’s all sorts of ridiculous.

Just ask the Tuscaloosa-based Gallettes restaurant, who trolled Central Florida with a participation trophy inside their digs. It’s all sorts of amazing.

Whether UCF want to admit it or not, the Crimson Tide are officially the reigning national champs. Any Knights fan making his/her way to Gallettes will find this out first-hand.
