LeBron James, Anthony Davis listed as questionable for Christmas Day

The Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers are set to do battle in Southern California on Christmas Day. It’s the best matchup in what has to now be considered a watered-down holiday slate.

This game could also end up being a tad watered down. While it was reported that Lakers star LeBron James would play, he’s officially listed as questionable. The MVP candidate missed his first game of the season on Sunday, a blowout 128-104 loss to the Denver Nuggets. James is dealing with a sore right knee.

Joining him as questionable to go, star big man Anthony Davis is also dealing with a knee injury.

The report goes on to note that neither star took part in practice on Monday. Needless to say, this would have a major impact on one of the most anticipated games thus far on the NBA schedule.

As one of the best tandems in the NBA, James and Davis are combining to average 53.7 points, 16.9 rebounds and 13.9 assists for the 24-6 Lakers.
