As everyone speculates about where Le’Veon Bell will land once free agency kicks off in mid-March, one fan threw out the Philadelphia Eagles as a possible destination.
That got Bell’s attention on Twitter, and it seems he’s intrigued by that idea.
One person who isn’t a big fan of the Eagles landing Bell, however, is offensive tackle Lane Johnson. He pretty succinctly shot down the notion responding to Bell.

Well then.
Now, it’s not Johnson’s job to sign players in free agency. But it is worth pointing out that Philly currently has one of the worst cap situations in the league heading into free agency.
Given the amount of money Bell’s been pushing for the past couple of years in Pittsburgh, he’s well out of the Eagles’ price range.
