The Los Angeles Lakers announced on Friday the additions of Carmelo Anthony and Kent Bazemore.
Anthony, 37, joins the team on a one-year deal, owning marks of 23.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists through 1,191 games (1,117 starts) in a 19-year career with Denver, New York, Oklahoma City, Houston and Portland.
Anthony, No. 10 on the NBA’s all-time scoring list with 27,370 points, played in 69 games (three starts) with Portland last season. He produced 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.
Bazemore, 32, played in 67 games (18 starts) for the Golden State Warriors last season, scoring 7.2 points and grabbing 3.4 rebounds per game.
He played for the Lakers in 2013-14, averaging 13.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.3 steals in 23 games.
